Fri 27th August (honest)....
Sat morning I woke up on the Skunk Anansie tour bus at V Festival - I woke up took myself over to catering and poured a cup of tea down my gullet, the perfect way to start a morning!! After tea I headed to the dressing rooms and bumped into Abi and Maria, from Mika's crew - we sat and chatted and more familiar faces arrived. I have only been in this "world" for the last year, so it's nice to see faces that I met throughout the year at various Festivals and shows. So first band on was Pixie Lott who I missed, but next on the main stage was Skunk, playing old songs and a couple of new songs from their up-coming album, Wonderlustre (Out Sept 13th). I was filming for their website so watched from many angles and loved it (as always).
After their show I went back again and milled about and chatted more.. A friend who works for Yamaha asked if I would present a little video clip for the Yamaha Download about "life behind the scenes" Which was fun... I've never tried being a presenter - I shall let you guys know what the link is as soon as it's ready....
The band arrived at the site and we soon started to get ready for the show - it's always funn getting dressed and ready for the show and then revealing our costumes to all the other acts - heads always turn.... he he!!
We drive for miles from back stage to the stage and get ready to hit the stage, it was lovely as we had Mark and Skin, both watching - it's so mice to have the support side of stage as well as the front! V TOTALLY ROCKED!!!!!! The tent was jumping and waving and clapping - so great to play back in the UK!
After the show we all squeezed back in the van - showered and then back to the partaaaaay where i mostly consumed drumstick lollipops!!! yummy!!
said goodbye to cherisse, jimmy and david (they were staying in Birmingham) and I went back on the Skunk bus. Slept and drove over night to V, Cheltenham. Firstly my little sister came to V so I had to find her to give her, her tickets and help her put her tent up! We queued for AAAAaaages trying to get in!! Oh my gosh!! A quick breakfast then headed right to the front of the main stage to watch Skunk. with my sister and her friend - we jumped the whole time - it was a great vibe! Afterwards I went through a crazy rigmarole of trying to smuggle my sister into back stage - which finally worked - but my gosh it was hard work!! But they loved it they went and had their make-up done in the MAC tent and tried to see as many celebs as poss! I watched a bit of Madness - which was great fun! I decided I wanted a MAC goodie bag - so I booked myself in to hav emy stage make-up done by the professionals!! And what a job they did!! So much better than be (obviously!!) Another van to the stage this time with my sister, her friend and Mark in tow!! And another great show - the British crowd showing us how they party!!! And so nice to my little sis to be able to watch from side of stage! I left my sister to party the night away and we vanned it back home. mmmmmm....hooooooome...
The next morning up bright and early to fly up to Edinburgh.... we got there and we went straight to the venue - the sound check went well and we got ready for the show - we were given somelovely gifts before hand - I got some Edinburgh rock, short bread scarf lots of goodies and some delicious ichigo daifuku!!

The show went really well, especially for the 2 scots in the band!! After the show we went and had a few drinks, but I was SO tired that I headed in to get some shut eye!
Tuesday morning sent us back home - where I chilled for the rest of the day with Mark and Banjo... luverly.... a takeway and movie...

Wednesday I woke early and set off for rehearsals with my boys... It was SO nice to play together after not playing for about 2 months! It was like we had never been separated! We ate, chatted and played - perfect. After rehearsals I went straight into central London and met with Gemma, my friend who is starring in my video and is also the stylist - we shopped for our last bits and pieces for the video. Home by 10:30pm

The next morning I left home at 9 - went and picked up some lights for the video and headed into Bethnal Green for 12 to start the video for Good Girls and Bad Boys!!
Make-up artists, hair stylists, dancers, actors, director and all sorts arrived!!! I couldn't believe all these people have come in to make a video for little ol' me!! The girls got dressed into their various outfits and make-up and hair was done. The venue - perfect - girlies - perfect - boys - perfect... It went so smoothly I couldn't believe it! WE were only at the venue for 7 hours so we tried to get everything covered and we succeeded - the stage scene was shot - the girly scene and the "bad boys" scene! And we even finished early!! I was back home by 8:30 in time to see Mark off at the train station - he went off to Paris with Skunk! A night in with Banjo, chicken ramen and C.S.I. (my guilty pleasure).

Friday looms the last day of the video shoot - I'm up at 6:30 - drive to my folks drop little Banjo and head to E. London...
I arrive a little late due to 'orrible London town traffic! And already the dancers are dancing (including your very own MFcer Caz Stacey!) with the fantastic choreography by Christina Andrea:

www.christinaandrea.com

The dancers, learnt the dance as soon as they got in and shot it straight away - it was amazing how they all learnt it in the time they had and performed it SO well - even Joe's (drummer) fabulous girlfriend Sarah - who hadn't danced in years got it! I was SO proud of the girls!! I don't want to give too much away - but there was alot of smoking (herbal ciggies - not the "funny" kind ha ha!), flirting and maybe a snog!!!
I don't want to give too much away.... I can't wait for you guys to see it!!!! On another video tip... I'm Just a NObody video should be ready this week!!.... Finally I know!! It was supposed to be done by last July!!!! Such is life when you're doing it on a teeeeny budget!!!

So keep posted!!

Thanks everyone for keeping on clicking - only a month to go - let's keep me in "ICHIBAN!!" (first) and hopefully some more fab tunage will be on the way!!!

Well my good girls and bad boys or is it bad girls and good boys.....!!??
