Sat 14th we were up early and we flew to Spain luckily the storm has subsided and the flight was easy. We landed in a tiny airport and we drove to our hotel. Jimmy and I had a little wonder around town, which was nice, found a little park with aluminium cars and screw drivers and mermaids hanging from the trees - bizarre!! We then headed off to the venue - drove through a little park to get there. It was a lovely gig, with a moat on the edges - an inner circle and then some steps that the general public can watch the show from. The show was filled with spanish flags, toreadors and bulls!! A great show - and we drove through the crowd - felt like The Beatles!! I filmed it!! On Sunday we flew to Colmar again, straight from plane to venue - this was our last show in France.... it's become my second home. kind of the amount of time I've spent in France this year!! Been great!! Next morning Jimmy and I walked around the cute town of Colmar, and later in the day we flew to Sardinia. We arrived about 9pm - after missing our transfer flights... we finally made it.
The next morning Team JiMMa ventured out to check out the surroundings - we stupidly went out without a map, after getting lost we finally took a bus into town. It was SO hot!! NIce to walk round - after getting back to the hotel we went to the venue - another fantastic roman ruines!! We walked right to the top - the views were beautiful. The show went well, with the crowd showing us umbrellas spelling Mika, the Sardinian flag with Mika's face!! Great fun!! After the show MIka, his family and we (the band) went to a little club on the edge of a cliff - sipped mojitos and Martin went for a swim, until he found out there were sea urchins!!!
The next day was Mika's Birthday, Cherisse, David, Jimmy and myself went near Mika's hotel and we all had a Birthday Luncg together and then we chilled on the beach as Mika and his family went out on the boats for a swim!! Cherisse, Jimmy and I hired a pedalo... Rock'N'Roll!!
The next morning was a super early flight to Catollica we got to the hotel and I was SO tired I just fell asleep in my room. We arrived in Catollica and were met by a lovely bunch - I got a fab box, necklace, ring, hair clip!! I was totally spoilt!! Best of all was a petition!! The show in Catollica was great fun with alot of familiar faces!! I finally managed to get a polaroid of pic of a crowd - I've been meaning to do it all year!! Our last show in Italy.... :(
The next day we got a super duper early flight home - I went straight to the hairdressers and had my hair re-dyed - in the evening I went back to the airport and met Mark as he came back from Austria and I rode up on the Skunk Anansie tour bus up to V. We slept on the bus and woke up at V.
