On Saturday, we woke up early at a ferry terminal from our bunks on our bus and with bleary eyes we all (band and crew) went on a ferry to cross the Finnish Gulf to Estonia, to drive through Latvia to get to Lithuania.... We eventually arrived and we were surprised at the amount of people in the streets... so, of course Team JiMMa had to investigate along with Maria, Abi and Darrah - we hit the town!! Wow - so impressed the streets were so cute and filled with families and crazy street music, we came across 2 or 3 big bands horns an' all!! We then stumbled upon a courtyard of restaurants and we shoved ourselves inside and I ate MORE borsch (I know...I'm gonna turn into a beetroot at this rate!!). After dinner bed called, I slept peacefully and woke for brekkie....which I eventually found in the maze that was the hotel! Nearly went and had breakfast in a strip bar!!! After a wee while I went and met Jimmy in town, David quickly followed, we had some lunch - pasta..... We then went to a flea market that Jimmy had found earlier, Jimmy bought a badge and David a hat! WE then headed to the venue... we had to wait while a bridge was put back into place after letting boats through!! Fun!!
We got to the dressing room IT WAS A BOAT!! "Ahoy maties".... so much fun - The show came and as it was a "Sea Festival" we all wore sailor hats which we had seen pretty much all day... I managed to keep mine on the whole show - good ol' hair pins!! We were swarmed with flies the whole show, in fact I think MIKA swallowed a fly ("I dunno why he swallowed a fly....") All in all a great show!! The next morning we were back on the bus and on our way to Liga, Latvia - an indoor show... which was weird - after doing shows out doors all the time!! Unfortunatley we arrived just in time for sound check so were unable to check it out... :( BUT we had an incredible support band, Instrumenti - you have to check em out:

I've had "life jacket" in my head for days after!! And the guys are so lovely and sweet. After the show we drove over night to Talinn, Estonia. Again, we arrived in time for the sound check and show - so we didn't get to see anything... During Happy Ending bubbles started appearing, it was UNBELIEVABLE!! It was totally magical...

Wed morn came and we were up at a sparrow's fart and we went home.... Home brought dog walks, washing, accounting - everyday normal things - which felt great!!! Thurs came and went with much of the same... I watched Fantastic Mr Fox, this was my favourite book when growing up, so was a little nervous about it.... but I thought it was BRILLIANT! I really enjoyed it and the way it was shot and filmed.... fab fab!

Friday I went into the studio and got some of my old tracks ready for re-mastering and remixing - nice to hang with my boys!! After this off to Brixton for a quick meeting with the video girl - try and get it finished!!
